Welcome to Islamia Girls High School
Islamia Girls' High School is an independent Muslim day school that caters for girls of any ethnic and cultural background.
We were set up in 1984 by the Local Community in response to concerns over the preservation of the Islamic identity of Muslim girls and have been very successful since.
The school is situated in a quiet, residential area of Huddersfield and occupies two adjacent sites, both connected to local merchant families as far back as 1686. The institution provides secondary education based on the National Curriculum, with the additional subjects of Islamic studies, Arabic and Urdu.
